Two defendants both supercharged in a July polish off at Nevada’s Water Bearer Casino Resort allegedly failed to bout upwardly for a scheduled courtyard appearing lastly week. The auditory sense was rescheduled for Feb. 24 in Laughlin, Nev. Justice Court.

Neither Julio Ceasar Arrezola Rodriguez, 47, nor David Cruz, 45, appeared either inward individual or by the internet for the scheduled hearing, Mohave Valley Daily News, a local newspaper, reported. Both are out on bond.

Their attorneys and lawyers from the territory attorney’s business office both showed upwards at Laughlin Justice Margaret Court cobbler's last week. Justice of the Peace Pro Tem Kyle Morrison Remick Waite chose to preserve the prelude hearing.

Each of the defendants is supercharged with unresolved murder.

The decease took place during a July 30 fight at Aquarius Casino. The melee started as a verbal argument. It grew into a physical face-off on the Laughlin casino’s gaming floor.

Violent Death

The ii suspects allegedly hit, kicked, and stomped on Alejo Jack Areyan after he felled seam to the strand and so remained motionless. Areyan kept on getting beaten, constabulary said.

Areyan’s injuries left hand him unconscious. He later succumbed to the injuries, according to the Daily News. He was pronounced drained at Western Grand Canyon State Regional Medical Center inward Bullhead City. An post-mortem concluded Areyan died from forthright drive head trauma. The Mohave County medical examiner’s business office said his last was a homicide.

Cruz was remanded into custody on Aug. 26. Rodriguez was arrested on Nov. 18. Cruz’s $250,000 bail was posted on Sept. 21. Rodriguez was released on bail on or before Dec. 2. The amount of his bail was not straight off available.

Even though Laughlin is some 75 miles sou'-east of Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Metro Police get jurisdiction o'er the city. LVMPD detectives handled the homicide investigation.

Relatives of Victim Angry Cruz Released

The fact that the royal court permit Cruz come out on bail infuriated the victim’s relatives shoemaker's last year.

The DA [Clark County Chief Deputy District Attorney Bishop Pesci] asked for bail to follow denied. But the adjudicate granted bail. He should never experience been let out on bail,” Rosemary Flores, Areyan’s sister-in-law, told the Daily News inward September.

Flores added that Areyan only got involved inwards the incident to assist someone else. He and so got attacked, she adds.

Jasmine Arayan, Alejo Areyan’s daughter, further told the Daily News they want “to get the justice we deserve.”
