Bolton Wanderers are “doing the right hand thing” by stabbing all golf links to betting companies, according to the club’s Chief Executive Neil Hart, as reported by the BBC.

Bolton, currently playing inward England’s League One, announced last week that it will no longer move into into any unexampled commercial partnerships and sponsorships with gambling firms, or supply on-site betting supply at the University of Bolton Stadium.

The decision comes amid the club’s new go up of “transparency, money plant and openness,” with Hart noting that it has been considerably received by supporters.

“Bolton want to win on the pitch, but alongside that is doing the correct thing," said Hart. “We just now felt, with the chroma of betting advertising around football, we didn't want to be constituent of that.

“We are not saying to supporters don't bet, but we aren't sledding to cater you with that opportunity within the bowl and it's something we believed in.”

While Bolton testament honour its existing human relationship with the English language Football League, which is sponsored past Sky Bet, Hart believes the gild can fly high without gaming unbendable sponsorships, and says that other clubs canful too.

"I believe clubs could [survive without gaming advertising], others will evidence me differently, but I do,” he said.
