Hollywood Casino at Kaw River Speedway was evacuated for several hours on Fri night after a bomb threat was phoned into local police. The Kansas River City, KS gaming dimension was scheduled to reopen at 7 a.m. (CT) Saturday.
The casino initially was evacuated at nigh 7:30 p.m. (CT) Fri after a piece threatened to shoot down himself during the speech sound call. Guests were ordered to leave.
The gaming property was searched by local police. No bomb was found.
As a precaution, the Kaw River Racing and Gaming Commission also directed its officers to take on a indorsement search at the casino.
